Service Description

This 4 week group class is taught by Independent Contractor Trainer Emily Helin. The class is for puppies and dogs 5 months and older. No previous class experience is required but it is preferred that you have experience training with a marker (clicker or verbal). The focus of the class is on developing a positive relationship with your puppy or dog through play, games, foundation training skills (skills for both handler and puppy), and more. Build your puppy's attention and focus on you right from the start! This is a perfect follow up to a regular puppy class and it's excellent on it's own as well. Dogs should should be comfortable working in close proximity to other dogs on leash. There is no off leash play in this class, the emphasis is on effective socialization while building your dog's attention and focus on you. WHAT TO BRING TO CLASS: • Water, water bowl and poop bags • High value treats and treat pouch • TWO of your dog’s favorite tug toys. • 6’ (max length) leash, no retractable leashes please • Flat collar, Gentle Leader, Halti or harness (no shock, choke or prong collars allowed) Class meets Monday at 6 PM for four consecutive weeks March 6, 13, 20, and 27. Cancelation Policy

GROUP CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY If a group class is cancelled due to weather conditions, or the Instructor is sick, a make-up class will be scheduled for one week following the last class session at the same time. Individual make-up classes (in the event that you are unable to attend an individual class for a session for which you have already registered) will not be scheduled. Please check your calendar in advance, we do not offer "partial registrations" for multiple session classes. 72 hours notice, prior to the first date/time of a group class session is required for cancellation and refund for that group class session. ***Your registration fee will be refunded MINUS the paypal and/or bank processing fees. Refunds for registration fee for a group class session will not be made within 72 hours of class start or once the session has begun. If a class has only one dog/handler team registered for it, the class will be cancelled. You will be contacted and your payment applied to a different group class. ​
